A cozy fall beverage featuring a silky cold foam blended with pumpkin puree and warm spices atop iced espresso or strong coffee. Perfect for quick, fuss-free fall vibes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots (about 60 ml) espresso or 1/2 cup (120 ml) strong brewed coffee
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold milk (whole milk preferred, oat or almond milk optional)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (canned or fresh, pure pumpkin not pie filling)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup or simple syrup, adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Brew your espresso or strong coffee: Pull two shots (about 60 ml) of espresso or brew 1/2 cup (120 ml) of strong coffee. Pour into your serving glass filled with ice.
  2. Prepare the pumpkin cream mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup (60 ml) heavy cream, 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until fully blended and slightly thickened. Chill if needed.
  3. Froth the pumpkin cream: Using a milk frother or handheld frothing wand, froth the pumpkin cream mixture until it doubles in volume and becomes light and airy, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Assemble your latte: Pour the frothed pumpkin cream slowly over the iced espresso or coffee. The foam should float on top, creating a creamy cap. Optionally, sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg on top.
  5. Serve immediately: Enjoy with a straw or spoon to savor the creamy foam followed by the rich pumpkin and coffee blend.

Notes

Use cold ingredients for best foam texture. Whisk pumpkin cream mixture before frothing. Avoid over-frothing to keep foam creamy and airy. Adjust sweetness after tasting. Fresh espresso or strong coffee is recommended. Leftover pumpkin cream can be stored refrigerated up to 2 days and re-frothed before serving. Coffee can be refrigerated up to 24 hours and served over fresh ice.
