Easy Fall Harvest Charcuterie Board - featured image

A simple, rustic, and stress-free charcuterie board featuring fresh figs, honey, assorted cheeses, cured meats, and nuts. Perfect for fall gatherings and requiring no cooking.

Ingredients

  • Hard Cheese (Cheddar or Gouda)
  • Soft Cheese (Brie or Camembert)
  • Blue Cheese (Gorgonzola or Roquefort)
  • Cured Sausage (Salami or Soppressata)
  • Prosciutto or Ham
  • Fresh Figs
  • Grapes (Red or Green)
  • Dried Apricots or Dates
  • Walnuts or Pecans (Toasted)
  • Crackers (Water or Seeded)
  • Honey (Local/High-quality)
  • Mustard or Fig Jam

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry fresh fruits (figs and grapes) thoroughly to prevent sogginess.
  2. Prepare cheeses: Leave Brie rind on; cut hard cheeses into cubes or slices; fold salami slices loosely for height.
  3. Toast nuts lightly in a dry pan if raw, then let cool.
  4. Place large items first: Position Brie wheel and hard cheese cubes on the board, spreading them out to create zones.
  5. Add small bowls for honey and mustard in corners or gaps between cheeses.
  6. Arrange cured meats around the cheeses, folding or draping them to create flow and overlap.
  7. Scatter figs in clusters near complementary cheeses and grapes in groups.
  8. Sprinkle toasted nuts in empty spaces to add texture and fill gaps.
  9. Fill remaining gaps with crackers, standing them in a fan shape or laying them flat.
  10. Drizzle honey strategically over the figs and blue cheese for shine and sweetness.
  11. Serve immediately after a final adjustment of items.

Notes

Let cheeses sit out for 30 minutes before serving to reach room temperature for better flavor. Ensure ingredients are at room temperature. For vegan options, use vegan cheese and agave/maple syrup. For gluten-free, use GF crackers. Store leftovers separately: cheeses in wax paper, fruits in fridge, crackers in sealed bags.
