Instructions

  1. Rinse and hull the strawberries. Slice them into halves or quarters depending on size to make bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a chilled mixing bowl, combine heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, and sugar. Beat with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until soft peaks form, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  3. Slice each shortcake biscuit into halves or thirds to create roughly 1-inch cubes or rounds.
  4. Assemble the skewers by threading a piece of biscuit, followed by a chunk of strawberry, then a dollop of whipped cream. Repeat the pattern if the skewer is long enough, finishing with a strawberry on top.
  5. Place the assembled skewers on a platter and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes to let the cream set and flavors meld. Serve chilled or slightly cool.
