These easy turkey and cheese pinwheel roll-ups are a quick, 10-minute lunch solution perfect for kids. Made with simple ingredients like tortillas, cream cheese, and deli meat, they are customizable, lunchbox-friendly, and a crowd-pleaser for picky eaters.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 810 slices turkey deli meat
  • 45 slices cheese (provolone, Swiss, cheddar, or mozzarella)
  • Optional: thinly sliced cucumber, bell pepper strips, shredded lettuce, or fresh spinach leaves

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese: Let it sit at room temperature for 20 minutes, or microwave for 10-15 seconds until soft but not melted.
  2. Make the spread: In a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and milk. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  3. Prepare the tortillas: Lay one tortilla flat on a cutting board. If stiff, microwave between damp paper towels for 10 seconds.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture: Using a spatula, spread a thin, even layer over the entire tortilla, leaving a half-inch border.
  5. Layer the turkey: Place 2-3 slices of turkey evenly over the cream cheese, overlapping slightly.
  6. Add the cheese: Lay 1-2 slices of cheese over the turkey, tearing to fit if necessary.
  7. Add optional veggies: If using, layer veggies in a thin strip down the center of the tortilla.
  8. Roll it up tightly: Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly toward the opposite edge, keeping the filling snug.
  9. Wrap and chill: Place the roll seam-side down on plastic wrap, wrap tightly, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  10. Slice and serve: Unwrap and slice into 1-inch thick pinwheels using a serrated knife with a gentle sawing motion. Serve immediately.

Notes

Chill the rolls for at least 30 minutes before slicing for clean spirals. Avoid overfilling to prevent unraveling. Pat veggies dry to avoid sogginess. These taste even better the next day.
