A quick, colorful, and nutritious snack box featuring a rainbow of fresh fruit paired with a creamy yogurt dip, perfect for kids and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • Strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • Oranges, peeled and segmented
  • Pineapple chunks
  • Green grapes, halved
  • Kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • Blueberries
  • Blackberries
  • Plain Greek yogurt (or coconut yogurt for dairy-free option)
  • Honey or maple syrup
  • Vanilla extract
  • Optional: rainbow sprinkles or edible glitter

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry all fruit thoroughly.
  2. Hull and slice strawberries into bite-sized pieces about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Peel and segment oranges, removing seeds and membranes.
  4. Cut pineapple into 1-inch chunks or rinse pre-cut pineapple.
  5. Halve the green grapes to prevent choking hazards.
  6. Peel and slice kiwi into rounds or half-moons.
  7. Rinse blueberries and blackberries and pat dry gently.
  8. Arrange the fruit in a rainbow pattern in your box or plate: strawberries, orange segments, pineapple, green grapes, kiwi, blueberries, and blackberries.
  9. Mix the yogurt dip by combining 1 cup (8 fl oz) plain Greek yogurt with 1 tablespoon honey and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.
  10. Transfer the dip into a small container and sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles if desired.
  11. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate up to 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use ripe but firm fruit to avoid sogginess. Pat fruit dry after washing to prevent watery dip. Keep yogurt dip chilled until serving. For variety, add lemon zest or cinnamon to the dip. Cut grapes into halves or quarters for toddlers. Assemble fruit just before serving if preparing in advance to maintain freshness.
