Spooky Witches Brew Green Punch

Spooky Witches Brew Green Punch - featured image

A simple, spooky green Halloween punch made with just a few ingredients. This non-alcoholic (or easily spiked) beverage is sweet, fizzy, and perfect for parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 liters Green Soda (e.g., lime-flavored soda like Mountain Dew)
  • 2 liters Lemon-Lime Soda (e.g., Sprite or 7Up)
  • Green Food Coloring (Gel or Liquid)
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice
  • Ice (Large cubes or spheres)
  • 1 cup White Rum or Vodka (Optional, for adult version)

Instructions

  1. Chill all ingredients, including sodas and optional alcohol, in the refrigerator.
  2. Place the punch bowl in the freezer for 15 minutes to chill, or fill with ice water to chill then empty and dry.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine the green soda and lemon-lime soda. Stir gently to mix without losing carbonation.
  4. Add green food coloring to the soda mixture, starting with a few drops and adding more until the desired neon green shade is reached.
  5. Stir in the fresh lime juice to balance the sweetness. Taste and adjust if necessary.
  6. Pour the mixture into the chilled punch bowl.
  7. Add large ice cubes to the bowl.
  8. Give the punch one final gentle stir and serve immediately with ladles and glasses.

Notes

Do not over-stir to preserve carbonation. Use gel food coloring for a more vibrant color without watering down the drink. For best fizz, add ice only at serving time. If making ahead, store the mixed liquid (without ice) in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
